Studio History and Approach

Studio Montgomery was founded in 2026 by Christy Montgomery with a mission to improve places to the benefit of the communities they serve through the practice of graphic design. She lives for the thrill of the lightbulb moment.

This mission is realized through intuitive approaches, tailored solutions, thoughtful narratives, and strategies developed in collaboration.

Christy brings 20+ years of project design experience on over a hundred projects across the country— from retail and multi-family to mixed-use and transit. They are all connected as design that moves people. This hands-on experience brings focus, clarity and improved results. It insures consistency from vision to concept to final installation.

The process starts with dialogue, research, reflection and analysis.

This foundation inspires creative thinking rooted in specific challenges and needs.

Every step thereafter is design-centered.

In other words, it functions in a way that is as simple and beautiful as it can be.
